About Doug Moss

I retired from the USAF after 23 years in 1993, then moved to Kentucky to complete my BS at Western Kentucky University. We then moved to Odessa, TX, where I began my teaching career in the Wood Shop at Hood JHS. After 2 years, I was hired by Greenwood ISD east of Midland to teach Computer Aided Drafting and Design. I retired from teaching in 2012. I then worked in the Oil & Gas industry designing steel and fiberglass tanks and steel pressure vessels, plant equipment, and other specialized fabrications, for Palmer Tank, a Division of Synalloy, Inc. I retired from there in 2018 to begin my own single proprietor drafting business, CAD for Hire. After 5 years, I closed out the business to focus on the activities of retirement.
