I organize my team and prioritize tasks so that we meet those deadlines. For each major release, I produce a summary measuring the testing effort required, and documenting any remaining issues in the release. I initiated the effort to automate our regression tests. I manage the testing environments, initiating and completing the effort to use VMware to virtualize them.Our product is customer driven, so my team uses Agile Methodologies to adapt quickly to new customer requests and changing requirements. We create test suites to ensue our product meets the customer expectations and that we retain our customers.I document bugs and deficiencies and coordinate with the development team to schedule fixes. After verifying a patch, I provide our operations and customer support teams with deployment directions.I am the hiring manager for the QA team in our Utah location, and developed a training program for our new hires. I guide each employee to develop their skills that will help both the company and the employee in their personal career. I established an advancement path for QA Testers. I find great satisfaction in the number of QA Testers from my team who have gone on to other positions within our company. Show less
