As Associate Dean and CFO of the college I work with the Dean to develop strategic investment plans, oversee all capital projects and manage the overall financial operation of the college a $160 million annual operation. The college has grown by 70% over the past 8 years, which has created the need for more classroom, office and laboratory facilities. I am providing oversight on the new 175,000 sf Aerospace Engineering Building that will be completed in June 2019 and for the expansion of the Leeds School of Business that is connecting with the College of Engineering and Applied Science. There are numerous other capital projects that are underway to meet the needs of the college growth.

As a member of the College of Engineering and Applied Science Senior Leadership team I work with the Dean and other campus leaders at the strategic level to improve the effectiveness of the College. My primary roles are to develop and lead highly effective student and faculty programs that support growth and excellence in the College; act as the CFO for the College and assist the Dean in meeting his strategic initiatives; represent the College on all major capital projects including the new Aerospace Engineering Building, renovations to the existing Engineering Center and the expansion of the Leeds School of Business; and engage alumni and industry partners in refining and delivering the college's strategy. I co-founded Catalyze CU-Boulder, a cross-campus business accelerator that has now graduated 30 business teams with over half still in business. I also teach Industry 101, and am the faculty advisor for the Deming Center Venture Fund that invests in start-up businesses connected with CU-Boulder.

SC Companies, Inc. is an employee-held private, global engineering company that focuses in power, buildings, transportation, environment, and water.I serve on the HR and Compensation Committee and the Audit Committee.

I was responsible for one of four business groups at Tetra Tech with $330 million in annual revenues and 1700 employees. We did planning, design, construction management and consulting for clients around the globe. Although we were focused on water related projects we did outstanding building design, bridge replacements, military housing and facilities in Iraq and Afghanistan and services for the automotive industry.

I helped MWH Global define its brand and strategy as a wet infrastructure company that helps the world become a better place. I drove strategic change in its business units, and recommended organizational changes to follow. I worked with each of MWH's business units on their value propositions, business plans and marketing strategies.

I was responsible for integrating a 100 year old UK consulting firm and a 140 year old UK process contracting firm. We created a dynamic water focused process and consulting business that won several AMP contracts with UK water companies, a major framework contract for the Environment Ministry and developed the first privately financed sewerage project in the UAE. We did projects throughout our geographical area usually with EPC or design/build responsibility. The group grew from $75 million to $300 million in 7 years under my leadership.
