If you want to know more about me, listen to some tales about them. Growth comes from 1) Vision, or setting goals and 2) Hard work, that is fine tuning a plan to meet those goals. Good planning means balancing "goal setting" with "goal monitoring." We need to prompt and encourage our teams to flag obstacles and learn how to make adjustments to overcome them.Understand the value of balancing vision and hard work guides my leadership style. In manufacturing it often means engineering a job or work center to ensure repeatability of a process. Easier said than done? Yes. However, a highly effective secret weapons in this battle is our team of operators. With 5S, VSM, and other Lean tools our operators have the power to make changes at the front lines.I've had the privilege to lead many teams, each one brought me personal growth and made me a better employee.
