More than 15 years of experience in performing plan review and inspection of residential and commercial work to assure compliance with the Minnesota State Building Code and City Zoning Codes. Oversee the commercial building permit and plan review process with planning, fire and engineering departments. Assist in issuing permits and scheduling inspections. Advise inspectors on code application. Meet with contractors, property owners and design professionals as needed. Answer day to day building and zoning code questions. Developed an Inspection Division policy manual. Assisted in the design of several City projects, including a new club house, new parking garage and building and park renovations
