Graduated Jenkintown High 1964Worked as a sheet metal mechanic ( riveter ) until 1968Served un the Navy in Pensacola, Fla., then 14 months in Saigon, Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief and mechanic.Jan of 1970 started 10 years of service with Sears Roebuck working as a mechanic, warehouse, salesJan of 1980 started 28 years of service with Safeguard Business Systems during that time the company was sold several times ending with Deluxe Corp. I was a mechanic doing both building and printing equipment repairs. In 1975 I was married. That marriage lasted 10 years and we had a boy and girl.In 1989 I remarried to my wife of 24 years who had 2 girls which we also put through Jenkintown schoolsMy present wife , Kathy, joined Safeguard were we met. In 2008 Deluxe closed it's plant in Lansdale, Pa. leaving us both out of work. We have been on several part-time positions until just this year when I was able to get my custodial jobAll 4 of our children live in the area and three of them have blessed us with grandchildren. A girl going on 7, a boy 4 and another girl going on 1
