Experienced professional with over two decades experience in sales, marketing, and business development with much of that experience gained as a vendor to the Direct Sales/Network Marketing industry. Additional experience in broadcast media and communications including specific skills such as audio/video production, copywriting, content development, and public presentations will provide a diverse skillset for any employer.I spent over 15 years in the Broadcast News industry as a reporter, primary news anchor, and news director where I honed communication, writing, marketing, promotional, managerial, and sales skills. (Don't let them fool you. Your nightly newscast is part sales job.) I retired from broadcasting and spent the next 15 years working to build and grow two SAAS startups . SolutionX, a web development company that built inbound and outbound sales tools for the direct selling and network marketing industry and Deductr, a web and mobile application specifically designed to help business owners track and document their expenses, mileage, and time for tax purposes. I wore a number of hats at both companies including business development, communications/PR, brand awareness, social media management, and product training. Each company was eventually purchased by another which led to my departure.I continue to utilize the skills and experience acquired during my time in broadcasting and the news industry through script writing, voice talent for commercial audio/video projects, training video production, and content creation. I fancy myself a weekend warrior, however routinely pulled muscles, sore joints, not to mention the bathroom mirror indicate otherwise.
