Sold BlackBerrys to Fortune 500 companies many of which were automotive - it was not fun. Finally got the prime gig - the GM and Chrysler accounts, Visteon, Lear, American Axle.... The prime gig right? Yeah not so much...

Developed and implemented a business to business sales training program for franchisees in markets nationwide. Started my own franchise and sold wireless services to corporate accounts for T-Mobile, Sprint PCS, Verizon Wireless, Nextel, and AT&T Wireless. The B2B franchise was a bit of an experiment and the only one of its kind in that organization. It proved to be too big of a challenge to compete with the business channels of the carriers and handle the fulfillment of business accounts on my own. Left on great terms with the Wireless Toyz folks - they are great people and I continued to provide some training services even after I moved on to T-Mobile.

Responsible for the sale of telecommunications services. Sales of products included long distance, dedicated Internet, frame relay, IPVPN, Voice VPN, enhanced toll free, routers, private line, and switched digital services.

Another CLEC - one a little more established and stable than USN was, but ultimately went bankrupt as well. Another corporate roller coaster. Responsible for the sales of telecommunications services to large, multi-state accounts. Sale of products included local, long distance, dedicated Internet, frame relay, VPN and routers. Responsibilities as Sales Manager included recruiting, hiring, training, and managing of sales team of seven people in a start-up market.

I could tell you stories about this gig that you would NOT believe. Company went boom and bust pretty quickly. Ended up on the CLEC scrap heap in less than 3 years. Duties as business performance specialist included retenion of existing customer base after the acquisition sales force was laid off.Duties as sales manager included hiring, training, development and motivation of a sales team of seven people directly reporting to me. Sales process geared exclusively towards new business acquisition.

Responsible for implementing the standards of QS-9000 for the family business. Completed Perry Johnson QS-9000 Internal Auditing training course. Took steps to learn all aspects of heavy stamping business. Family decided to close up shop.

PPOM was very much a family atmosphere in its growth stages before it got acquired. Got some great experience here for a first job out of college and met some good people. Individually responsible for the recruitment of physicians for a major health care network. Responsible for the training of new provider representatives. Launched several new markets around the state of Ohio and successfully opened, as well as managed two new offices in Columbus and Cleveland. I learned a lot here.
