Selected Accomplishments:• Led San Diego team for ERP selection for global institute wide search. Ultimately selecting SAP Business byDesign Developed roadmap for aggressive implementation schedule and successfully completed global implementation in 2018• Designed and implemented new purchasing processes, financial reporting structures, institute policies and procedures, and control environment for new ERP system• Led San Diego team for selection of Payroll processing software, ultimately selecting ADP, in 2017• Oversaw $7M (33%) in growth while restructuring office to maintain efficiency (without increasing headcount) and continued to provide excellent operational support. Developed a high-performance team while strengthening controls and building infrastructure for additional growth• Directed and managed transition of financial regulations from OMB A122 (Cost Principals for Not-For-Profit organizations) to Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200 – federal costing principals and audit requirements)Key Responsibilities:• Leads team of 12 encompassing Finance, Accounting, Payroll, AP, AR, and Sponsored Research (Pre and Post Award with over 60 active grants)• Designs and develops the framework for reporting financial information including; Single Audit, GAAP audit • Creates multi-million dollar budget for external (Government and Private funding) and internal funding sources.
