After 20+ years in the Fitness industry I’ve decided to retire. The COVID-19 quarantine made it clear just how I enjoyed being with my family. So now it’s my main focus. I’m sure temporary or part-time work will come along, but not enough to lose my correct focus at this time of my life.

Work with police officers specifically assigned to me whom did not initially meet the physical training (PT) requirements for their duties and responsibilities. Together we developed a strategy to help each officer successfully complete the PT time requirement.

Work with Franchisees across Northern Minnesota and North Dakota to adhere to company policies and guidelines. To be an objective observer and offer ideas and strategies to help each Franchisee achieve their financial and personal goals as they related to their restaurant(s).Promoted to Project Manager and moved from Brainerd, MN to the HQ in Cheyenne, WY. There, along with the R&D manager, we worked to develop new product implementation guidelines for Mexi Rolls; ventured into cart/food wagon, and small stores in convenience stores, the first in a Loaf-n-Jug in CO.

Managed store locations from Sun City, AZ to Casa Grande, AZ, with additional locations in Cortez and Montrose, CO, and Farmington, NM.Despite strong management teams the AZ stores were struggling to survive. Ultimately they all were closed when the advent of the Super Bar proved their undoing. My responsibilities were to ensure the well-being of the management teams during the changes. Additionally I was responsible to ensure protection of company assets until retrieved by HQ representatives.Frankly, this wasn't my shining star work experience but I learned a great deal here through association with quality individuals.

Started as an Asst. Mgr, then Mgr for the Layton restaurant. Promoted to Area Supervisor for Layton to Logan, Utah, with stores in Clearfield, Roy, Ogden (2), And Brigham City in addition to Layton and Logan.I successfully managed these stores to have the highest Manager and Assistant Manager retention in the Pacific Region. My management teams were incredible. Two of the store managers were promoted to Area Supervisors, one in Utah, one in Southern California.I took pride in delivering outstanding support and service to my management teams.
