With over 22 years in the US Army, my journey has been dedicated to building effective and resilient teams; developing and fostering strategic partnerships; and improving organizational focus and effectiveness. In Africa, my mission aligned seamlessly with the US Army's goal to strengthen relationships and enhance regional stability. My expertise in multinational coordination and strategic communication is complemented by a steadfast commitment to our values and the pursuit of excellence. My roles have allowed me to leverage my diverse experiences to contribute meaningfully to the Army's mission.As Chief of the Office of Security Cooperation, my tenure was marked by directing a dynamic international team through complex assistance programming valued at over $330 million. My leadership ensured the successful implementation of DoD's strategic plans in Uganda and the region, enhancing operational efficiency and regional stability. The skills honed in stakeholder engagement and program management were critical in managing a large and diverse portfolio as well as the US's instrumental support to the 2022 Uganda Ebola outbreak, setting a benchmark for effective crisis management and collaboration.
