I was promoted to VP in 2016 to oversee strategic and operational global pricing (specialty/rare diseases, vaccines, diabetes/cardiovascular, and general medicines). I spearheaded a major initiative to ensure robust price performance, converting decentralized pricing efforts across 4 business units into 1 unified team with cohesive pricing strategy, SOPs, and single global-pricing system. Additionally, I oversaw 30 professionals and a 11-figure product portfolio consisting of 40 products in 100 countries.Key Priorities & Successes:► Directed 2 company-firsts, establishing public declaration of pricing principles, making Sanofi one of the first companies to provide transparency through pricing clarity. Also introduced global-pricing governance enterprise-wide, decreasing risk by instituting policies for pricing decisions, rebates, and reporting while aligning distribution rates.► Ensured smooth transition. collaborating with team and business-unit heads to gain valuable feedback and buy-in on pricing to guide key planning and decisions. Also presented to board.►Established launch pricing of 7 products worldwide and managed post-launch changes for entire $35B product portfolio.►Launched Dupixent, generating 10-figures in sales, 2019. Led to media attention, with Forbes article. ► Worked cross-functionally, including with finance, legal, sales, and marketing areas, on topics that range from product pricing and changes to complex contracts and ensuring everyone is on the same page.
