One of the four original employees who founded Nistevo in 1997 to create a Transportation Management System (TMS). Customers use the TMS to improve shipping inefficiencies such as reducing shipping costs and optimizing shipment movements. Nistevo went through acquisitions by Sterling Commerce, IBM and finally Kewill. The TMS product and team remained intact through all these acquisitions.Was the lead technical architect when initially developing the TMS application. Responsible for defining, documenting and implementing the multi-tiered, layered architecture of the TMS application. Designed and implemented many key frameworks including web service, remote communication, transaction, persistence, alerting and messaging frameworks. Evaluated and integrated many third-party products and technologies. Created architecture documentation and presented it to internal and external organizations. Performed on-site customer training and participated in trade show to demo products.

Lead developer for a Windows terminal emulation application that provides access mainframe computers. Developed a PC-resident windowing system that included real-time window display management, video hardware programming, device driver programming, and interrupt handling. Developed a PC printer driver that interfaced with graphics cards to capture and print terminal window data to a color printer.
