I am an experienced sustainability expert with over twenty years’ experience. My background is ESG and product sustainability with a PhD in Life Cycle Assessment. In this area I have worked on over 200 product sustainability projects and been instrumental in setting up key standards such as PAS 2050. In the middle to latter half of my career I have moved more into the corporate sustainability space. For 4 years I sat on the CSR board of a FTSE 100 company and have continued to advise companies on a wider sustainability strategy including corporate reporting (CDP,GRI), net zero, materiality assessments, SBTi and supply chain sustainability. Although I have worked largely in the consulting space I enjoy working alongside companies to ensure that the true business value to sustainability can be captured and achieved and more interesting, tougher goals can be achieved.My current passion at Sphera is unlocking the potential of companies to scale sustainability cost effectively using software.
