Dr Stuart Gordon is Aurecon’s Digital Practice Leader NSW/ACT region and also for the Defence and National Security Market. This is the primary focal point for 'digital' at Aurecon for client engagement, digital engineering planning and delivery for projects, and evolving internal digital practice. Stuart is a sense maker and change manager with a strong technical background and positive people skills. He leverages his insights into available and emerging digital technologies to optimise immediate day-to-day processes for digital upskilling, platforms and processes. Aurecon's digital initiatives include: universal automation across all teams, Model First design principles, robust information governance and mature use of our digital ecosystems, and digital upskilling.He has over 19 years of industry experience working on geospatial projects around the globe with a focus on geospatial and reality capture. In former roles, Stuart was a digital leader for surveying and asset integrity teams deployed on Defence, energy, mining, and O&G sites around Australia, New Zealand, Africa, North America and South-east Asia.Stuart is currently an Army Reserves officer based in Canberra.
