I am a digital leader advancing digital practice and connecting our digital capabilities, such as digital engineering, automation, analytics, generative AI, digital twin, geospatial, and visualisation methods to our teams to ensure they are continuously improving their ways of work, advancing their own skills base and delivering exceptionally to our Defence clients across the Defence Estate. I have worked with various Defence clients for several years, both in the field conducting geospatial surveys at numerous bases around Australia, and in the office working with design and engineering teams planning their digital engineering methodology for delivery. Acutely aware of the amount of data generated on the Defence Estate, I am highly motivated to ensure that knowledge of the Defence estate is accessible, and all teams can reuse information and find it easily. Ultimately as a geospatial scientist and noting that all Defence Estate works occur ‘somewhere’, it is my drive to ensure all data, wherever possible, are spatially tagged, their location exploited in the Defence EGS, and geospatial visualisations leveraged to improve the use, scrutiny and accessibility of data across the Estate.
