Work included retail strategy and design, branding, packaging, product and mechanical design as well as production management and sourcing of tooling and fabrication within Australasia and Asia.

In charge of all design for Thorntons, who are the largest manufacturer and retailer of premium confectionary in the UK. I was recruited to re-design and re-launch the brand, including the re-design of existing products and work with the NPD in the development of new product lines. I was also tasked with the in-store environment, including promotional activity. The role was largely focused on below the line marketing, such as Direct Mail and in this area we were also one of the UK's most experienced Cause Related Marketing specialists, having worked with The Sun newspaper and the RSPCA, as well as Centrica and a vast range of charitable organisations. We established the company in Nottingham and had our studio in the old High Pavement school in the historic Lace market area of the city. Clients were varied but we did have a strong base in the design of personal care products (cosmetic, hair and skin care products) for the likes of Nicky Clarke, Trevor Sorbie and multi-nationals like Alberto Culver and Wella.
