As the Director of Learning Technology at Kennedy Krieger Institute, I lead a dynamic team of instructional designers and media producers to create high quality, engaging, and effective learning experiences for professionals and community members internally, locally, and with the world. I am also an internationally recognized UDL and Accessibility consultant, instructional designer, and educator. I specialize in the theory and practice of UDL, especially in the context of higher education. I am co-founder and chair of the UDLHE Network, chair of the inaugural UDLHE Digicon (2019), founding member of the UDL-IRN Research Committee, creator of Implementing UDL on Canvas, co-author of "UDL Navigators in Higher Education: A Field Guide," and a speaker and consultant for institutes of higher education that are seeking to implement UDL praxis.My top 5 strengths, per the Clifton Strengths Assessment are: • Activator• Ideation• Strategic• Communication• Input/Inquisitive Together, these have enabled me to be a highly successful "get it off the ground and running" kind of leader for many initiatives large and small through my career.
