I have undertaken work for both central government and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority on policy and programme development and devolution. Until the Summer of 2016 I was Managing Director for the £50m portfolio of business growth and business finance services at the Manchester Growth Company and previously Chief Executive of Work Solutions which delivered a range of employment and skills programmes under contract to the SFA, EFA and DWP.Now Director and Executive Chair at Think, a consultancy firm specialising in skills, employment and business growth offering policy, strategy, research, workforce development and support for organisational change. Our approach is thought-provoking and hands-on and ranges from short-term assignments to long-term capacity building and management. Our clients span private sector employers, universities, colleges, charitable foundations and government bodies.
