This is not just my field of expertise but also my personal passion - I never stop looking for ways to make improvements.I am proud to reflect on the fact that businesses and consumers all around Australia receive many of their favourite food, liquor, electronic and fashion goods from warehouses and through distribution networks I have designed in close collaboration with some of the largest organisations in their sectors.Leading teams of professionals to design both standalone and multi-user facilities such as the national and state DCs for Treasury Wine Estates, Canon Australia and True Alliance as well as the transport networks and fleet configurations for Arnott's, Lion Nathan, Coles and Woolworths, I promote a holistic approach to design that ensures the final product truly reflects the best possible solution for my clients' current and future needs to achieve a balance of commercial success, technological superiority and outstanding customer service.With open and continuous communication and shared goals, major improvements are possible. An increase of over 50% in customer delivery standards while reducing costs at Qantas epiQure is just one example of how effective change can be achieved by working in partnership, rather than as "customer" and "supplier" adversaries.As a team leader, perhaps my greatest achievements have been the success of my recruits and colleagues as they have gone on to positions of trust and seniority in their fields. I have always believed that the best solutions are derived from a combination of working closely with clients, using leading edge modelling and design tools and methodologies and by leveraging both my own and others' experience and maintaining an open mind to new information and ways of working.
