• Continued technical work as the email archiving SME while adding responsibilities that included managing a full time employee, three contractors, $2.4M budget, 6000 seat Enterprise Vault environment and relationship.
• Led implementation of a hosted compliance archiving and monitoring system to meet SEC & FINRA regulations by creating rules to route email and automating the account creation process.
• Teamed with consultants and legal to plan, design and implement a process to delete expired email not subject to legal hold from the EAS archive resulting in a purge of over 300 million messages. Ran weekly meetings.

• Messaging team lead of four analysts on a contract supporting Exchange and Zantaz EAS at Capital One.
• Acted as lead engineer in implementation and ongoing management of Zantaz EAS archival system consisting of over 20 application servers archiving over 30,000 mailboxes.
• Supported the MS Exchange environment by redesigning journaling to support over 40,000 mailboxes, deploying two MS Exchange 2003 clusters for executive staff and migrating of 8,000 Bank affiliates from Novell GroupWise.

• Messaging team lead of three analysts supporting 15000 seat MS Exchange system.
• Acted as lead engineer in design and implementation of Exchange 2003 system which resulted in reduction from 64 servers to 18. Provided technical leadership in international migration of 15,000 mailboxes from Exchange.
• Served as key project team member in design, construction and rollout of Linux based Jabber Instant Messaging system to support 6000 seats.
