Dr. Brothers is responsible for managing the company’s philanthropic giving and community investment areas. Since its founding in 1981, the T. Rowe Price Foundation has given over $150 million dollars to communities throughout the U.S. The T. Rowe Price Foundation is funded by T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and supports communities where T. Rowe Price has offices by awarding direct grants and matching associate donations. In addition, Dr. Brothers also leads T. Rowe Price Charitable, a national donor-advised fund where Dr. Brothers works to assist over 4000 donor-advised fund clients develop and pursue their philanthropic interests, define their grantmaking strategies and achieve greater social impact. In 2023, T. Rowe Price Charitable, with an endowment over $600M, distributed over $150 million and over 33K grants to nearly 15K public charities, private operating foundations, and government entities.

Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in areas of social welfare policy, community development, nonprofit management and philanthropy. Universities include Coppin State University (2022- ), Goucher Prison Education Project (Fall 2021 - ), University of Baltimore (2019); Rutgers University (2010 - 2015); New York University (2007-2012) and George Mason University (2005-2006). CO3 Chief Officers 3rd Sector is a membership organization for third sector leaders in Northern Ireland. CO3 has over 300 members and has been operating for over 25 years. Organizations include social economy organizations and partnerships, to community, faith-based and voluntary organizations.In addition, expanding beyond Northern Ireland, Dr. Brothers provided guidance to CO3 and ACOSVO, a similar organization in Scotland, on research, training and technical assistance/capacity building around the nonprofit and philanthropic sector in the U.K. Dr. Brothers initiated and help guide a cross-country research study on the organizational health of nonprofit organizations in the U.K., the first of its kind in the region.

I have served in eighteen interim executive assignments throughout the United States to transform organizations by serving as transitional CEO of nonprofits facing major strategic transitions. This role served both to maintain continuity, stability, key relationships and confidence on the part of stakeholders, and to strengthen the organization in a number of key capacity areas. Created successful interim leadership and succession planning program in Northern Ireland that trained over 100 interim leaders to manage the country's growing leadership gap.Organization's budget span from $2M to $250M, staff sizes ranging 50 to 750 members, and efforts that are rapidly scaling to efforts that were experiencing massive decline and turnaround. Most notable interim executive engagements include the Puerto Rican Action Board (2013/14), Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers (COO-2013), Groundwork (2011) and Project Reach Youth (2008).
