In public health, we must hold appropriate parties accountable and acknowledge that the system is not broken, but was purposely flawed in design to promote otherness and requires our deliberate, coordinated approach to disrupt and dismantle it so we can build a new one. With an expansive list of accomplishments and expertise relating to public health frameworks, community and leadership development, chronic disease management, and integrating the social determinants of equity, I have the ability to support the redesign of public health systems that serve the needs of the community in a dignified and capable way.
