Dr. Lynn Shaw, LCSW, LCAC, CLL-E, CLYLDr. Lynn Shaw works with organizations and individuals to create positive energy for professional and personal development. With a rich history in education, healthcare, mental health, business, and community service, Dr. Lynn's vision is to help others step into their greatness. With a focus on preventing burnout and living mindfully, individuals and groups can get recharged with Dr. Lynn's life applications, quick wit, and infectious laugh. She currently offers virtual presentations and virtual coaching sessions.Dr. Lynn is recently retired from her academic position as a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Indianapolis. She is a recipient of the NISOD (National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development) award for excellence in teaching and leadership. The first course she taught was an original stress management class entitled, “Stress, Laughter and Healing.” She has been consulted as a mental health and laughter therapy resource for feature stories in radio, TV, and magazines. Dr. Lynn holds a Doctorate Degree in Educational Studies from Ball State University, a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a past-president of the Indiana Chapter of the National Speaker’s Association and a member of the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor.
