Hello! I’m Dr. Pal Manickam, a gastroenterologist, health educator, and a bit of a comedian too!I chose to become a doctor, but life had other plans for me. It made me a messenger for health and wellness. That’s why you see me here today!To be honest, I wasn't always a keen believer in healthy eating. During my gastroenterology fellowship, a health scare made me realize I’d been neglecting my own health. This pivotal moment was a wake-up call, pushing me to reevaluate my lifestyle and embark on a transformative fitness journey.I started reading books, listening to podcasts, and watching videos about time-restricted feeding. I followed this method for 66 days, lost 50 pounds, and felt amazing. This journey made me want to help others do the same.Then, COVID-19 happened. One of my videos went viral on social media, and suddenly, many people were watching me and learning from me. This changed my life and work, and I could help even more people.The emotional connection I’ve established with my audience is my greatest blessing. Everywhere I go, I encounter stories of transformation and hope, fueling my drive to do even better. This journey led me to create and support several impactful initiatives:- NewMe Health Coaching: A program that uses time-restricted eating and expert coaching to help over 500 people lose weight and improve overall well-being.- MedCom: A stand-up comedy show that combines humor with health education, making wellness both entertaining and insightful.- Vanna Malargal Foundation: A US-based non-profit providing medical services and humanitarian aid to underserved communities, enhancing the lives of children and families.- Aishwaryam Trust: Dedicated to caring for destitute individuals, special children, and the terminally ill with medical care, rehabilitation, and compassionate support.- YouTube Channel: Engaging over a million viewers with valuable health content and contributing significantly to my creator journey.My vision is to live a balanced life and help others do the same. I want to make people laugh, help the vulnerable, and teach others about health and wellness. I feel lucky to have these opportunities, and I would love for you to join me.
