Dr Teoh continues to build her career on patient-focussed clinical care and improving health administration and health outcomes as a GP in a multi-disciplinary medical clinic. At Osana, she helped to build an innovative and new approach in Australian general practice to improve patient experiences, health and quality of care.She is especially interested in health management and medical governance issues such as health care policy, quality and safety of patient care, risk management and improvement in health care processes and outcomes. She has been a member of the Northern Sydney Local Health District Board since March 2020.Dr Teoh’s clinical interest areas include Chronic Disease Management, Paediatrics (especially early behavioural issues such as sleep problems, feeding and behavioural concerns), Women’s health and antenatal shared care, Sexual health, Drugs and Alcohol and Mental Health concerns.Dr Teoh grew up on the lower North shore, graduating from the University of Sydney in 1995. After several years in general and emergency medicine, she became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2003. She has worked as a GP in urban and rural areas throughout Australia and in Beijing, China.
