Managed development of the Entriq media cloud services. Entriq is an end-to-end cloud-based solution for content providers who want to monitize their media, and my role covers the design and development of the Media Authorization Network (DRM), Billing and Care application (Commerce,) and Content publishing and delivery (CMS and CDN.) In addition to leading development, I have helped to company to establish a new Digital Stores product line and strategy, which brought in over 70% of the company's revenue in 2005 and 2006.

Managed the core development of an Internet-based Video-On-Demand service, financed by five major studios in Hollywood. Grew the Movielink service from inception to becoming one of the top internet video-on-demand services.Responsible for website/commerce engine development, content distribution network, Digital Rights Management technology, affiliates integration, Content Management System, configuration management and software release management.

Managed both Engineering and Operations, and responsible for all technology decisions for the ASP service, which is a Collaborative Commerce extranet used to manage the lifecycle of retail locations. Mapped business strategy and customer input to technical vision and roadmap, and managed the entire software development cycle from architectural design, SQA process to hosting strategy.

Responsible for web development, eCommerce search technology R&D, third party technology integration and content management for the AltaVista E-Commerce division. The product, which was rated among the top three sites by Media Metrix along with Yahoo and CNET, was delivered on extremely aggressive schedules with all target dates met. The code was serving over 5 million page hits a day with 10GB of merchant products and pricing information in the backend database. Major functionalities included the AltaVista Rewards program, parametric-based product search engine, product comparison, local and online merchant support, merchant boosting and slotting, affiliate program, wireless portal, Shopping.com auction and Shopping.com store. Earned AltaVista’s Employee of the Year honor in 1999.

Managed migration project, which moved the IBM Storage Division’s manufacturing logistics system from mainframe environment (MVS) to UNIX for both San Jose and Germany. Critical factory control system was migrated to AS/400 and web. Developed Statistical Process Control monitors with Java applets, data analysis engine with SAS, automated tool interface and control through GEM protocol, and multi-threaded MR-head testing platform with C++. Responsible for high profile projects that saved the company millions of dollars a year through improvements in system architecture and innovations in testing methodology. Earned 2 Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards for innovations contributed to the company.
