In this position, I created a strategic five-year plant capital outlook with an average annual budget of $5-7MM. I managed projects including gas chromatography (GC) analyzers, reactors, cathodic protection, and inline magnets. In doing so, I coordinated engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure project success with minimum downtime. Additionally, I developed bid packages for contractual support, and guided project teams comprising outside engineering support, internal personnel, and general contractors. I established a successful safety culture while encouraging continuous improvement. - Led design team, developed cost estimates, and coordinated installation of primary reactor pot for a polypropylene plant - delivered costs within 3% of $1M budget.- Delivered all projects on time and within budget, with no safety issues.- Rescued three-year-old project through comprehensive re-evaluation and correction of design. Completed 1 ½ miles of trenching throughout plant with zero safety issues – eliminated a mile of unnecessary piping and upgraded electrical systems. Project recognized as a learning tool on cross- functional cooperation.- Completed more projects in first 12 months than previous managers had delivered in three years.- Installed four inline magnets to remove ferrous materials from finished product line, requiring exceptionally complex piping design.

In this position, I managed multiple concurrent projects with a cumulative value of $4MM. I am proud to have ensured strict adherence to Process Safety Management (PSM) guidelines while coordinating complex structural repairs and process improvements. Furthermore, I undertook Root Cause analysis on process malfunctions and HSE issues, and performed three annual cross-departmental ISO internal audits. Finally, I professionalized and standardized processes and produced technical documentation.- Replaced entire five-story structure without shutting the HCl acid process down. Project completed without safety issues and within budget, with no loss in production. - Designed and installed heated water hydraulic system to move liquid phosphorus. Integrated water recycling to save over $500M in annual disposal and treat costs. Project had 18-month payback.- Successfully installed plant's primary phosphorus chloride reactor, which had been awaiting install on site for two years. Identified and corrected major flaw in vessel support base before installation, saving the facility from a three-month shutdown.

In this position, I developed and managed a plant maintenance budget (AOP) of $8MM+, with direct oversight over all contractual work spanning HVAC, electrical, insulation, plumbing, abatement, and general maintenance.- Created and implemented maintenance management program that resulted in over $600k savings in three years. Program provided checks and balances to improve maintenance efficiencies, such as Capacity Leveling (planning to resources available), Schedule Attainment, Obligated Stores, Automate Preventive Maintenance Orders and Work Order Backlog monitoring.- Reduced unnecessary materials stores and secured cost savings totaling $700k+.
