Instructional Implementation is a broad category that encompasses many duties. These include, professional development, curriculum design, event planning, account management, conference presentations, community support and content development. Over the course of my employment with Discovery Education I have been responsible for all of these and more. I specialize in Science and STEM but have also created resources for classrooms of all kinds. Developed and delivered various professional development sessions for Discovery Education. PD sessions included those targeted towards Discovery services as well as sessions on educational technology, digital storytelling, web 2.0 tools, digital portfolios, interactive boards and instructional presentations. Specialized in sessions for science teachers in the use of instructional technology combined with hands on science activities. Earned the Most Valuable Leader award in 2011 for my leadership of the team.
