As Manager for Software Development, I was responsible for overall working of software team at Mechartes. My day to day work involves the following: Monitoring multiple projects from conceptualization and visualization to technology mapping and final execution of projects. Mapping requirements and providing them best solutions involving evaluation and definition of scope of project and finalization of project requirements. Holding review meetings to monitor progress of the project as per schedule. Handling resource allocations and setting up of communication channels across the various horizons of the organization structure. Coordination with clients and development team for timely and proper execution of project. Helping development team from time to time with architecture /algorithm development and debugging.

As a novice Software developer, I joined this startup in IIT-Delhi and quickly understood the various aspects of Software Development, starting from designing to deployment. Primarily, my roles and responsibilities can be listed out as follows: Development of logic for converting concepts and real time problems related to mechanical engineering into algorithms. Writing source code and doing manual testing to covert the algorithm into working code. Documenting everything, starting from logic, algorithms to source code. Handling deployment & installation. Exploring new technologies and open source libraries for 3D & 2D.
