Maintain and elevate ViiV’s commitment to disrupting enduring racial disparities that define the HIV epidemic as a member of the External Affairs Community Liaison team.

 Creates modified trainings to reinforce learning and retention by infusing culturally relevant materials and appropriate strategies. Collaborates with multi-dimensional stakeholders to provide innovative capacity building assistance on program design, operations, performance management and impact and talent retention. Reviews current public health programs and policies to support their development, implementation and adaptation.  Coordinates logistical support for conference hosts and sponsors. Researches, writes and reviews technical writing documents for non-profit entities for submission to funding bodies and publications.

 Creates locally sourced, homemade pastries while emphasizing quality customer service.  Plans and coordinates all aspects of events, according to the vision and budget of clientele.  Identifies and negotiates methods to spend budgets effectively.  Coaches new hires and apprentices in baking and decorating techniques. Collaborates with vendors and partners for successful event implementation. Manages inventory of supplies.  Ensures food safety and sanitary standards are met.  Oversees and assists with marketing efforts.

 Provided daily leadership of Housing services team (4 FT, 1 PT staff) including recruitment, training, development, improvement planning and termination. Developed impactful and culturally appropriate materials (Black and Latinx MSM, transgender women, cisgender women) and developed strategic marketing plans to improve programmatic success. Reported weekly and monthly grant deliverable updates to senior management and grantors via timely report submission. Established and managed accurate and complete data records.  Assisted with grant writing and grant preparations for funding sources applicable to the wellness needs of the community which Abounding Prosperity serves. Represented Abounding Prosperity at local, regional, and national gatherings Represented Abounding Prosperity for community and consumer advisory discussions on a local and regional level. Provided support to other program managers, Director of Programs, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Greater Atlanta Area

 Conducted structured telephone health interviews with persons living with or at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. Reviewed design and implementation of research protocols for necessary adaption.  Collected and recorded data from participants regarding their health and health behaviors. Communicated daily data collection activities between the Atlanta site and the University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus. Conducted project recruitment using online social media, face to face and telephone engagement. Monitored data for quality assurance. Administered HIV and STD testing procedures. Provided referrals for community resources and supportive services.

 Provided leadership in developing and promulgating policies, guidelines and recommendations on public health and social justice issues which impact delivery of housing services. Provided housing counseling, budget trainings and workshops to improve self-sufficiency, decreasing the time elapsed for transitioning into permanent housing solutions. Identified safe and stable housing for marginalized populations, including those at most risk for chronic homelessness.  Coordinated the agency’s Deposit Assistance and Short Term Rental, Mortgage and Utility Programs.  Completed housing intake assessments and move ins.  Maintained documentation of interaction with housing clients in accordance with best standard practice. Assisted in the establishment of linkages with community resources and supportive services. Developed effective strategies to meet program goals and objectives.
