Through the Store Academy platform, customers are able to manage every aspect of their retail businesses, from adding products and services, to order fulfilment, shipping and customer relationship management. All stores built on the Store Academy platform have advanced e-commerce features like abandoned cart recovery, click and collect ordering and are optimised for search engines. Uniquely, every business using the Store Academy platform will be enrolled at no cost into an online educational programme. Through video tutorials and e-commerce podcasts, customers will learn everything they need to know about how to grow an e-commerce website; from setting up their store, to social media marketing, search engine optimisation and how to create engaging content. The Store Academy platform is a software as a service (SaaS) business, has been in full time development since July 2013 and we can't wait until it's ready for the world of small retailers to benefit from. In January 2010, at the tender age of 25, I took my first baby steps in business, founded Silver Lotus Ltd and launched 'Lotus Golf' - an amateur golf league organising and hosting high quality golf tournaments. It was fantastic fun running Lotus Golf and entertaining many happy customers but ultimately growth was too slow and it didn't prove to be profitable.
