During the initial Office365 and SharePoint 2013 development cycles, I was responsible for internal engineering systems that enabled us to ship SharePoint to the cloud--creating the 2010 and 2013 versions of SharePoint Online within Office365. These efforts involved engineering systems providing tools and processes to support developers and testers as they write the code, creating the actual SPO build, providing systems for integration and validation testing, and the tech we use to patch new bits into production.I have moved from engineering to the core platform of SharePoint and have delivered a major update to the storage subsystem which allowed SharePoint Online to increase the max site size by 10x and compete on the 1TB landscape. The designs I am responsible for in this space also enabled per file encryption and an increase availability from 99.95 to 99.999 while maintaining equal cost.
