Projects included; developing an Advanced Analytic platform in DCOS that links operational MongoDB databases to Apache Spark for Machine Learning, leading implementation of the MongoDB Connector for Business Intelligence, owner of the Risk Assessment Tableau Server site, working with teams to develop new applications and continuously improve existing applications, act as an Advanced Analytics, reporting, and Big Data subject matter expert.

Serve as the Analytics, Reporting and Big Data expert supporting the Hospital Data Capture (HDC) department. Develop applications for use by data collection operations. Develop and maintain reporting related to HDC activities for a wide range of audiences (clients, client management, departmental management, and senior leadership) for both Medicare and Medicaid products. Work with stakeholders to develop KPI's and reporting on team operations. Develop models and perform statistical analysis of collected data to asses its value to the clients and obtain insights on the teams operational performance. Worked with Technical Engineering Team to develop new Database built on Big Data platform (MongoDB), now serving as the application owner. Work closely with the Director of HDC to collaborate on operational strategy and provide ad hoc reporting (often for senior leadership). Represent HDC as a subject matter expert on project teams. Evaluate collected data, identify potential issues, and programmatically rectify data issues whenever possible. Build ETL and data integration jobs to allow data from multiple sources to be accurately reported on together. Act as an escalation point for technical assistance for both internal and external users involved in data collection. Provide training and support to team members on the use of applications and systems.
