Hello! I am Dylan Buck, a 1L student at The Fordham University School of Law, class of 2027. My journey to this point has been fueled by a deep passion for public policy and an enduring love for the music. As I begin this chapter in my life, I’m eager further explore my interests, whether through public policy work, entertainment law, or perhaps a path yet to be discovered. I am currently a proud participant in Fordham’s REAL Scholars Program providing a strong foundation in the law. The program’s focus on fostering community and practical skills has been a game-changer as I embark on my legal career.Before law school, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Music Industry Studies at The University of Texas at Arlington. My time at UTA was marked by leadership and service, most notably as the Student Body Vice President. In that role, I had the privilege of leading initiatives that impacted students and representing the student body in discussions with university and city officials.Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience working as a Legal Records Assistant at Harris Finley & Bogle PC. There, I played a key role in reorganizing the firm’s filing system, ensuring efficient and effective document management. Prior to that, I excelled as a Legal Intake Specialist at Intake on Demand, where I was consistently recognized for my exceptional client service and ability to manage complex information with accuracy.As I continue my studies at Fordham, I’m exploring the intersections of law, public policy, and entertainment. I’m passionate about addressing the challenges facing our society, particularly those impacting underserved communities, and I’m equally drawn to the vibrant world of music and entertainment law.
