Properly train, evaluate, and screen Marine Corps Officer candidates for leadership potential. Appropriately counsel all candidates on both the positive and negative aspects of their performance in addition to providing guidance/assistance when required.

Student at a 41-week resident career level school that educates and trains company grade Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) officers to serve in an expeditionary environment.Students learn, adapt, and apply instruction emphasizing combined arms operations, warfighting skills, tactical decision-making, and Marine Air Ground Task Forces in expeditionary operations. Conference groups participate in practical exercises and discussions, pass comprehensive examinations to include Foundations, Doctrine, Marine Corps Planning Process, Marine Air Ground Task Force Operations, and Expeditionary Operations Afloat. Students are required to complete all requirements of the oral and written communications program and participate in the Occupational Field Expansion Course or independent study programs. The program assimilates instruction and displays skills in progressively more challenging leadership and ethical problem solving curriculum.
