Current• Support Project Managers in the delivery of allocated construction and refurbishment projects through the development and implementation of environmental management plans, environmental work plans, pest management plans, species management programs, erosion & sediment control plans and other relevant plans • Manage the preparation of detailed environmental study documentation; obtain relevant permits, approvals and licences; and provide legislative advice and interpretation for all… Show more • Support Project Managers in the delivery of allocated construction and refurbishment projects through the development and implementation of environmental management plans, environmental work plans, pest management plans, species management programs, erosion & sediment control plans and other relevant plans • Manage the preparation of detailed environmental study documentation; obtain relevant permits, approvals and licences; and provide legislative advice and interpretation for all allocated projects across the entire project life cycle.• Provide technical support and advice to Project Managers, Designers, Contractors and other internal and external stakeholders on a wide range of environmental matters.• Audit and report on project compliance with environmental management plans, legislation, policies and procedures; and monitor to ensure audit recommendations are implemented.• Support Project Managers in the development of contract specifications, and review contractor documentation and work outputs to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the state and federal environmental management legislation impacting on Powerlink Queensland.• Represent Powerlink Queensland on environmental matters relating to specific projects to external organisations, community groups and land owners.• Provide support and guidance to other Environmental Advisors and contribute to the ongoing development and review of Powerlink Queensland’s environmental processes and procedures.
