Junior Mechanical Engineer working at Australian Astronomical Optics.Completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Macquarie University.Throughout my engineering studies I have learnt the importance of working effectively individually and in teams, adhering to given requirements and developing technical analysis skills to tackle any problem given to me. I have strengthened my leadership skills by using effective communication and task delegation in unit projects, such as leading a team in developing a plastics recycling overhaul plan for the Sydney area (in 2023 semester 1). I recognize the usefulness of a well-written easy-to-understand technical report, and have completed this throughout my university life, through case studies, scoping documents, various assignments and lab reports. I have utilised CAD software (CREO Parametric) in multiple projects in and out of university, including a small 6-gear gearbox (2022 semester 1), a marble-run 'cube' (2022 semester 2), and an assistive jar-holder with locking cam (2023 semester 1). In addition to these skills, I have used and continue to develop my skills through the MATLAB and ANSYS (FEA and CFD) programs.I am interested in the automotive, computer technology, motorsports, rail/transport and renewable energy industries.
