    Our site focused on water quality testing for local wells and municipal water utilities across the US and Canada. In addition to general lab responsibilities, I was in charge of testing samples for the presence of fecal coliforms, enumerating bacterial/fungal loads in samples, and checking for bacterial spores. I also performed monthly QA/QC measures, including maintaining bacteriophage stocks. Additionally I was involved in a quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA) pilot study. For this study I was responsible for determining the most probably number of bacteria via culture techniques.
