Applications of fertilizers, 2-4D, glyphosate, fungicides, and insecticides. Respond to clients who have concerns with home lawn diseases, weed problems, tree concerns, or irrigation problems then make recommendations on how to correct the problem with their landscape. Develop IPM's to save people money, make work easier for me, and to protect the environment from pesticide concerns.

Monitored greens and fairways for pest issues including weeds, insects, and plant diseases, and then developed IPM for pests detected. Responsible for calibration, maintenance, and repair of spray application equipment, including both boom sprayers and backpack sprayers. Daily responsibilities included cutting cups/setup which involved managing the bunker crew, greens, and fairway mowers, spot watering with the sprinkler system and moving ropes to direct traffic. Responsible for collecting soil and tissue samples for nutrient analysis. Also responsible for rolling and aerating greens, sodding multiple fairways and tee boxes, hand watering, mowing rough and fairways, verti-cutting rough and fairways, and sprinkler blow-out for winterization.

Daily responsibilities in the morning included cutting cups which involved managing the bunker crew, greens, and fairway mowers, also spot watering with the sprinkler system and moving ropes to direct traffic. Jobs done in the afternoon included mainline irrigation repairs, a great number of 2” repairs, managing crews, sub-air, collecting soil samples, fertilizing with Scott’s spreader and 300 gallon boom sprayer, herbicide applications with backpack sprayer, sodding multiple fairways and tee boxes, hex plugs, tractor/loader, hand watering, mowing rough and fairways, verti-cutting rough and fairways, and maintaining fertigation systems.
