I am tasked with the case management of all my team’s contentious claims.- Applying problem solving skills to resolve complicated claims on a case-by-case basis.- I review building and expert assessment reports to determine claim coverage as it relates to a customer’s insurance policy contract terms.- Verbally communicating claim outcomes and writing formal decision letters to customers.- Managing and tracking building repairs, variations and ongoing claim costs.- Supporting the onboarding of new hires and upskilling of my team members.- Identifying opportunities for process improvement to support the achievement of team and organisational goals and objectives.- Acknowledging and proactively resolving customer complaints and escalations.- Issuing payments to customers for claims settlement as well as processing the invoices of suppliers and assessors.
