What motivates me: the challenge of justice and criminal legal reform, the opportunity to be on and lead teams and support people in their careers, and the unceasing urgency to push forward with a bold vision for what we can collectively achieve. And as a Boston sports fan, I'd add: a good Patriots or Celtics highlight reel!But going back to a serious note: thank you for checking out my profile and wanting to learn more about my career. I've had the opportunity to work on justice reform from so many angles - serving in the courtroom, mobilizing community voices, helping lead groundbreaking nonprofits and reform campaigns, and developing high-impact grants to support research, innovations, and advocacy efforts across the country.I've built and led multi-state policy reform campaigns; written and analyzed historic legislation; drafted and delivered legislative testimony at all levels of government, as well as numerous communications and media materials; created unique pilot programs; driven collaborative partnerships and coalitions; and mentored and helped develop dozens of amazing advocates, policy experts, and leaders. Throughout all of it, I've been committed to identifying, centering, and helping elevate the voices of directly impacted people and communities. So much of that experience has been informed by earlier stages in my career, where my focus was on political and issue organizing and helping get good people elected to public office. I even gave that a shot myself.
