From languages to mathematics to biomedical sciences.I am a third year Honors Biomedical Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University, currently working as a co-op student with Unity Health Toronto. My education was a meandering one, but I've finally landed at my destination in Biomedical Sciences. Aspirations of politics at an early age led me into the French education system, which I pursued through to high school. I grew into a deep love for literature and languages, never leaving the house without a book near me. I later attended Danforth Technical Collegiate for the math, sciences, and technology program, wherein I developed a passion for biology. I observed how the forefront of every discipline ties into the innovation and creativity I associated with literature, and decided that biomedical sciences was the place for me.I promptly enrolled into the Honors Biomedical Sciences Co-op program at TMU, where I interned with the nanomaterials team at Environment and Climate Change Canada and the education team at Unity Health Toronto. As I attend University, I strive to integrate every facet of my multidisciplinary education into my current studies, with the ultimate goal of applying myself to research in human diseases.
