Mautz was a small alarm system & CCTV business that acquired Pyramid Alarm Systems in 2010. I stayed on as their Accountant and Business Manager, a promotion with nearly double the responsibility with 4000 accounts to manage and a bigger staff. In addition to managing financial reporting, audits, payroll, and AP/AR, I also became a decision-maker over marketing, sales, HR, and customer service strategies. In 2016 Mautz decided to close it's doors after 30 years. I was Pyramid's Accountant and Office Manager for over 15 years, and when they decided to sell to Mautz, the company was in very good standing. We had about 2000 account holders, and I managed the accounts payable/receivable, payroll, benefits, financial reporting, and operations. When I was originally hired, I was the first office employee.
