I started my career as a software engineer, and quickly found that I had a preference and skill set that lends itself toward product. I began working with system engineers to prepare ready work for my team, and eventually transitioned my role entirely.I have 6 years of product management experience, and have worked with a variety of evolving responsibilities in my time. From running customer workshops, to doing large-contract gap analysis, to backlog refinement and maintenance directly with multi-disciplinary teams.My duties constantly change to meet the needs of the teams I support, but there are two responsibilities which seem to remain stable. First, to build and maintain a good rapport with my cross-functional teammates; and second, to communicate complex ideas succinctly to a wide variety of stakeholders so that everyone can stay on the same page.Beyond the job, I am passionate about sustainability, fitness, eclectic reading, and playing games of all varieties with friends.
