This $250M asset management firm acquires public- and privately-traded real-estate backed equity and debt securities. I consistently produce strong Internal Rates of Return (IRR) between 23% - 28%. In this role, I’m responsible for:• Identifying, analyzing, and recommending investments for 12 investment funds with a total capitalization of approximately $45M.• Analyzing investment targets by developing propriety valuation models in Microsoft Excel based on regulatory disclosures (10-Ks, 10-Qs, etc.), using integrated cash flow and asset valuation models.• Authoring quarterly and annual investor reports detailing fund performance and investment activity.• Presenting research and make buy, sell, and hold recommendations to the Investment Committee.

Published individual equity research reports for approximately 25 different companies on a quarterly basis. Quarterly reports included detailed breakdowns of individual company’s operating history and financial performance as well as my own financial projections, including buy, sell, or hold recommendations.• Specialization included equities within the Canadian Bank and Household Product sectors.• Developed an advanced understanding of corporate finance, including all aspects of consolidated financial accounting reporting.• Conducted frequent interviews with senior management of the companies under my coverage.• Participated in regular interviews with various media outlets to discuss my published research reports.

• Processed all IRA, 401K, and non-qualified plan activity on a participant level in compliance with government regulations.• Developed a solid understanding of relevant government rules and regulations regarding individual retirement accounts.• Calculated and priced net asset values for asset-allocation models on a daily basis using complex financial models to generate valuations in Microsoft Excel.

• Managed a staff of 15 sales associates within budget in a department generating over $2 million in annual revenue.
