Grubby Knees Community Theatre aims to deliver exiting and engaging performing arts orientated classes around the Wolds of Lincolnshire. The company believes that art engagement should be for everyone and intends to tailor classes for all needs, age and ability. The company aims to ultimately deliver more specialised workshops in Prisons, Residential Care Homes, Learning Disability Colleges to name a few. Grubby knees also aims to collaborate with local organisations to make work for entertainment or for a cause or purpose.

'Still Me Project'Still Me is a Dementia support project which uses cultural and physical activity to significantly improve the lives of people affected by Dementia or another life-altering conditions and their carers. I manage and facilitate the creative activity; this includes organising a program of engaging activities and events for the participants of the project.

• This project explored the Notions of Masculinity, and what affects these notions are having on the National Health Service and the health of men in the UK. • The project involved four community groups which performed together in a community performance to raise awareness of Men’s health in the UK. • The project was run solely by myself, which has enhanced my experience in Project Management, Directing, Devising, facilitating and organisation as well as enriching my passion for community arts. • It has also allowed me to gain experience in dealing with confidential information appropriately. • It allowed me to gain wider expereince in facilitating various groups of men from different backgrounds, some of which being drug and alcohol related• Allowed me to gain a wider knowledge of stage management skills

A project that involved collaboration between myself and two other community drama students with a group of older people based at a community centre “Wheel meet again”. The project was a piece of theatre for democracy, which was focused on making the public services in Liverpool more accessible for older people. The project involved devising, directing and performing in a performance for an audience of older people and councillors encouraging dialogue between two parties. The project also involved writing and delivering a speech to the Liverpool Neighbourhoods councillors in the council chamber in Liverpool, this allowed me to develop my communication skills in both verbal and written English. Overall the project developed my experience in communicating clearly and accurately with all types of people in different scenarios.
