Answering phones in a timely manner, maintaining a friendly, helpful and professional demeanor. Assisting customers with placing orders via phone or on a walk in basis. Extensive product knowledge, meeting customer needs, offering alternative options and resolving problems and following up with customers. Providing information regarding policies and procedures, processing cancellations, adjustments, returns/exchanges, changes and other order requests. Checking and taking phone messages and routing them appropriately.

Responsible for retrieving and charting all documentation in patient charts such as labs, x-rays, new patient information both electronically and on paper. Acting as a liaison between the providers/nurse practitioners and patients. Scheduling appointments, following up with patients in regards to their appointments, calling in prescriptions interacting with doctors and nurse practitioners to map out and advise them of their destinations since all patients are seen in the home or an assisted living residence. Answering phones and scheduling breakfast/lunch appointments for pharmaceutical reps, home health agencies, and other agencies that partner with the company. Also responsible for overseeing the Patient Care Coordinator department that is responsible for verifying insurance and other benefit/ patient matters.

Responsible for helping defendants settle accounts out of court in regards to setting payment arrangements. Sending the necessary legal documents to them to avoid further court proceedings. Reviewing files for judgments and proceeding on files and determining what department they need to be transferred to in order for the legal process to be completed correctly. Answering multiple phone calls or meeting with defendants face to face in order to resolve such matters. Serving as an assistant to the supervisor, taking escalated calls, helping other associates on the floor with calls and maintaining workflow so that daily duties are completed promptly and efficiently.

Responsible for handling inquiries from customers over the telephone and also face to faceResolving and assisting customer’s questions and multiple needs from restoring services, processing payments, granting extensions on accounts, and generating service orders.

Load temporary payment contracts for providers to ensure correct payment. Ensuring the accurate and timely system entry of new, or changes to provider and eligibility information according to standards of production and quality in order to obtain unit goals Entering provider demographic and eligibility information into the master file database Attend claim forums to continually update and improve claim edits and other information Communicating with all providers, markets, associates and database users regarding pertinent correlations or additions to the database information as well as researching database to ensure accuracy of updates. Collections also required as needed to ensure the payment or reimbursement of funds as related to the claims process. This also commensurate with being a liaison between the providers’ office and insurance company
