Ed Bartlett has been fascinated with the world of animation from a young age. As a non-verbal autistic child that struggled to enter the world around him, animation opened up a world of new possibilities and gave him a place where he felt welcome. Animation’s unambiguous reflection of life where happy people are clearly happy and sad people are clearly sad, gave him the scaffolding by which he could gradually enter the real world around him. This love of animation has never left him and has further developed into a hunger for exploring the history of animation from obscure early films to massive modern blockbusters as well as gaining an understanding of the techniques, which made these possible. Ed also has a flare for creating his own videos and hosts a YouTube channel giving retrospectives looks and analysis on a range of topics, especially with regards to animation and video games.Ed has been involved in a number of animation projects, and particularly enjoys combining live action with animation. He has worked with several clients, including Change this Limited for whom he created an animated logo.Whilst Ed is fascinated by the world of animation, he is also engrossed by editing and the worlds he can create through manipulating footage and audio, Ed likes to bring humour to all of his videos and a sense of gentle fun.
