I started my career in Connecticut as an accountant and shortly became an auditor. Showing great success in that role, I was given projects where I analyzed data and created reports. I partnered with IT, supporting proprietary software and improving business processes. I built low code solutions using html and Microsoft Access eventually leading a small staff of talented reporting analysts. I brought those skills to Richmond where I became a business analyst supporting an application for the US Treasury at the Richmond Fed.Over the years, I found my business analyst skills would bring me back to being an end user as I turned my technical support into a content publishing role on the Richmond Fed websites. I still required documentation and testing of a website's look and feel, but I also worked with the content that I would publish on the site. Over the years, my data skills lent themselves well to creating website analytics reports. I leveraged the opportunities that lists, metadata and workflows offered to create new efficient business processes in SharePoint. My auditing experience was a good complement to the compliance needs of the Corporate Communications department, and I led that department's efforts in information security and records management. I was flexible enough to managed server migration projects, detailed enough to edit content on the websites. My experience includes managing MailChimp emails, video publishing on YouTube, and cropping images to fit the space on websites and social media.I have always been the person to get the job, and to take it one more step beyond what is expected, yet often needed.
