Ed Kovac has 35 years of experience in the federal government training and human capital space. During his career as a learning development professional, he has counseled top federal government agencies, including the IRS, State Department, Department of the Navy, and the FAA, in operational and organizational analysis, change management, systems engineering, training design and development, communications and outreach, systems analysis, program analysis, human resource analysis and program/contract management.Ed is the past CEO of VERTEX Solutions, Inc., an award-winning learning consulting firm he co-founded in 1996 to provide learning and human performance solutions. He grew VERTEX to a staff of 125 with an operating budget of $20M, prior to its acquisition by Adayana in 2008. In addition to his CEO responsibilities, Ed was responsible for the capture and award of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Training and Management Assistance (TMA) Contract.Ed is a graduate of Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in engineering. He volunteers and serves on the strategic planning committee with a local non-profit that provides food and personal supplies to those in need.
